You Need Friends

Because God didn’t design you to live this life alone.

We’re facing a loneliness epidemic

  • Over half (58 percent) of US adults are considered lonely

  • 1 in 4 Americans rarely or never feel as though there are people who really understand them.

  • 2 in 5 Americans sometimes or always feel that their relationships are not meaningful and that they are isolated from others.

  • 1 in 5 people rarely or never feel close to people

  • Minorities are more likely to experience loneliness: 75 percent of Hispanic adults and 68 percent of Black/African American adults.

  • 2 out of 5 senior adults aged sixty-six and older report feelings of being lonely.

…and Gen Z is our loneliest generation.

4 out of 5 young adults between the ages of 18 and 24 are lonely

But God designed you for community.

Research shows you are at your best—physically, emotionally, and spiritually—when you’re immersed in meaningful friendships who fully know you.
